andARCHITECTURE was founded more than 1,5 years ago, time for a flashback! For now it's a German flashback, but we are working on our international standards… Things are changing and so is andARCHITECTURE. Stay tuned, you won't be disappointed!

Europan 11 Shared Transition
Unfortunately andARCHITECTURE's contribution to the Europan competition goes without award or mention. Our very down-to-earth proposal does the least to change the most. This is actually the urban implementation of our Student Para-Siting plan. A combination of several archipunctures, budget awareness, student eagerness and owner's open mindedness could cumulate forming a diverse student and working pioneering quarter with later changes to a more diverse basis. In several steps we provide interesting basic housing space for new-dwellers, improve the bicycle connections on a higher level, activate and attract amenities and improve the surroundings in a green way. We don't design icons, we don't touch private ground more than absolutely necessary and we are very eager to keep it feasible. Simple does it, but not in this case. You can see a slideshow of the concept to the left under urbanism>europan 11. We congratulate the winning teams and are excited to see the winning plans in the publication!
